veterinary surgeon, practice owner
I graduated from the Veterinary University in Brno in 2001. After that, I completed the post-graduate study of small animal veterinary emergency and critical care medicine at Small Animal Clinic of VFU Brno. I worked 6 years as an internist in HKvet veterinary clinic in Hradec Kralove, 3 years as a scientific communication manager at Royal Canin and we are still in a cooperation. I participated in several stays abroad, inter alia, 6 months in Small Animal Hospital of Purdue University, USA and 3 months at Intensive Care Unit of Queen Mother Hospital at Royal Veterinary College, UK.
I am an author of several both domestic and foreign scientific journals and a member of EVECCS (European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society). I regularly participate in scientific seminars and conferences. Besides the acute medicine and intensive care, I am particularly interested in internal medicine and minimally-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
When free I spend time with my family, do sports and travel.
I finished my studies of veterinary hygiene and ecology at Veterinary University in Brno in 2001 and veterinary medicine in 2004. I worked in several veterinary clinics in Hradec Kralove in the field of general small animal medicine (dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles) together with practice in farm animals. Regularly, I take a part in veterinary educational events. I am especially interested in stomatology and soft tissue surgery. I spend my leisure time with my family, doing sports, handcrafts and playing amateur theatre for children.
I have a degree in Breeding of Companion Animals from Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Further, I studied reproduction technologies. I am experienced in animal handling and training and I am also qualified for retail sales of selected medical products. In my free time, I take care of my animals and travel.
